Unfortunately due to the nature of our products we cannot allow returns or refunds for any reason other than defective items on our cloth diaper selection.

If you receive your order and are dissatisfied with the merchandise because it is defective, you may return your item for a full refund, or a replacement within 7 days of receipt.

Returns

In the event of a defective item we accept returns for full refund of the item price within 14 days. Returns must be in original packaging (if applicable), unused, unwashed, and not “prepped”. Due to the personal nature of cloth diapering, we cannot accept returns that have been used or have an odor. (Perfume, Air freshener, Cigarette smoke, etc.) Any clothing merchandise should also be unused and unwashed. It is the buyer’s responsibility to pay return postage.

Items sent back to us that fall beyond our return/exchange policy will not be sent back unless you make arrangements for us to ship it back to you at your own expense.

Please email us at admin@basicstitchco.com to communicate your return and for the shipping address!

Please make sure to include the original packing slip OR a note with your order number, email address, and reason for return. Lack of information may delay your refund!

Exchanges: Need to exchange an item?  Please reach out to use prior to doing so, so that we can ensure that we have the product you are needing!  Please notate in your return package what product that you would like to exchange for. The exchange will be processed upon receiving the return. 

(Exchanged items should follow the guidelines for a return)

 

Shipping 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping
costs are nonrefundable.
If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
